HTC
HTC Corporation is a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets that was founded in 1997.[1] It is headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is a manufacturer of smartphones and tablets that are based off of the Android and Windows Phone operating systems. Until 2006, HTC built generic phones that were based off of Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system for other companies to brand.[2] However, starting in that year, they introduced phones under the HTC Brand, and in 2009 they introduced the first Android Phone, the HTC Dream. They were also a founding member of the Open Handset Alliance.[3] Today, their flagship Android phone is the HTC One M9.
