The Fire Tablet (formerly Kindle Fire) is an Android tablet developed by Amazon based on the Android Open Source Project and first released in 2011. Fire Tablet's feature a multi-touch display screen, since it has color unlike the Kindle e-book reader devices. The device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wireless Charging (exclusive to specific models) Fire Tablet's exclusively use the Amazon Appstore for Downloading Applications, it does not contain the Google Play Store or any other Google Services. The most recent model is the Fire HD 10, 10+ (11 Generation) as of 2021.
